Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird
Developed to become the fastest production motorcycle in the world, the Honda CBR1100XX, the Blackbird as it is more commonly known, achieved this accolade in 1997 when it reached 178.5mph. The CBR 1100 X was built between 1996 and 2007 with many improvements being made to the bike over its lifespan. Powered by a 1137cc, DOHC engine (gaining fuel injection in 1999), the Blackbird put out a staggering 164bhp whilst in its prime.
